HomeWorker Magazine Coming to WHSmith!

With several months of working with a distributor to get HomeWorker ready for its print launch now complete, I’m pleased to announce that you will be able to buy HomeWorker magazine in your local branch of WHSmith by the end of this month.

The premier issue of the magazine will appear in WHSmith stores across the country as an exclusive. You won’t be able to buy the print version of HomeWorker from any other source. After looking closely at the market for digital magazines, I decided that printing the first issue of HomeWorker was a great way to test the market for a news stand magazine.

So, keep your eye’s peeled over the next few months. I’ll blog when the actual publication date has been set, but the hope is to get the magazine into the store by the end of March at the latest. At the moment we are looking for space at a printer as the print version of the magazine is now ready for press.

If the print version proves to be successful, HomeWorker will become a print magazine initially with a digital version available for those that want to download it. The hope is that if the first issue sells well, HomeWorker will then become a quarterly publication from this Spring. I’ll keep you posted on developments.
